Help Create Workplaces That Work Better for People

At WorkSpace Interiors, we believe great workplaces do more than look good — they help people connect, collaborate, and do their best work.

As a multi-year Steelcase Premier Partner and leading commercial furnishings provider, we partner with organizations to create environments that support culture, performance, and growth. From workplace strategy and furniture solutions to installation and project execution, we guide our customers from ideation to occupancy.

We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of workplace design, creative problem-solving, and client collaboration — someone who enjoys understanding how people work and translating ideas into thoughtful workplace solutions.

Why This Role Matters
As an Account Executive, you’ll help bring workplace environments to life through thoughtful design, creative problem-solving, and strong client collaboration. From early conversations through installation, you’ll partner with customers to understand their needs, develop furniture solutions, and create spaces that support how people work.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining design thinking, creative problem-solving, and client collaboration to help shape meaningful workplace experiences.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Create Workplace Solutions:

  • Develop thoughtful furniture and workplace solutions that support client goals, culture, and the way people work
  • Present workplace concepts, space plans, finish palettes, and furniture solutions that bring design vision to life
  • Host live design sessions to engage the client by taking their immediate feedback to refine solutions
  • Produce technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and CET, including block plans, working drawings, and as-builts
  • Conduct site reviews, field measurements, and programming interviews with end users
  • Validate plans against construction and A&D drawing sets
  • Develop product specifications, manage revisions, and maintain project documentation

Build Trusted Client Relationships & Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for select major accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and end users
  • Support account growth and contribute to annual sales and profitability goals through strong client partnerships
  • Conduct regular reviews and action plans to identify growth opportunities and ensure customer needs are met
  • Maintain understanding of key purchasing contracts and customer standards
  • Provide educational and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and loyalty

Coordinate Successful Project Execution:

  • Coordinate with project managers, installation crews, and contractors to ensure successful execution
  • Conduct walkthroughs and ensure final punch items are resolved
  • Ensure warranty issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Manage project budgets and timelines
  • Maintain CRM and project records according to company protocol

Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD required
  • Experience with CET is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Hedberg is a plus
  • Stay current on workplace trends, new products, and emerging technologies

What Makes You Successful:

  • Strong furniture design and space planning knowledge with the ability to quickly learn and apply new product solutions
  • Customer-focused mindset with consultative sales ability
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or equivalent related experience
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial furniture, workplace design, space planning, or related industries preferred
